A Krafty Merry Christmas!

Hello again, my krafty friends!!! (:

Here today to share a Christmas card I absolutely adore and one I will be submitting to the current challenge over at A Blog Named Hero.  It consists of creating any project incorporating kraft!  The winner will receive a $25 gift voucher to Simon Says Stamp!

I am an absolute lover of kraft!!! I actually fight the urge to use kraft every single time I craft a card.  It's such a balancing neutral that calms all colors, no matter how loud they may be!  And makes light tones pop, no matter how soft they are!  So this was quite the FUN challenge for me!!!  I encourage you all to join the fun and play along, too!! (:  Below, please find the badge...

And now, I present to you my paper-pieced, cheerful, snowy Christmas scene!

Can you guess what stamps I used?! HA!  Everyone, in a chorus, please:  Lawn Fawn! lol (:  The LF sets I used were: "Critters in The Forest", "Making Frosty Friends" and "Bake Me a Cake" (for the star atop the tree ).  The snowy background is from a gorgeous Hero Arts background stamp I purchased last year at an awesome sale at Michaels, right after Christmas! (:   I drew the snow hills by hand, then, I cut them out and inked the edges w/distress ink in "Broken China".  I added black enamel to Frosty's eyes and buttons, and a little bit of glitter glue to the star on the tree as well as on Frosty's heart!  How cute is HE?!!   Then, to finish off the card, I added rhinestones to the snowflakes in the background--LOVE the sparkle, which makes the snowflakes look icy!    Ah yes, the sentiment is from Hero Arts as well--from the set "Special Wishes".   Hope you guys liked this card as much as I enjoyed making it!!! (:

Anyways, I hope you're all having a good week so far.  I have a busy one, so you KNOW I'm already looking forward to the Sabbath rest!!!  May GOD richly bless you all.  I will most likely be back on Sunday to show you another card!  Have a CRAFTY day, my lovelies!

Xoxo,

Gri
