My Sister Act Card Challenge Debut!!! :D

Hello, my gorgeous readers!!!

Today is my first time debuting as a Sister Act Card Challenge DT--Woohoo!!!  I'm thrilled--I'm ecstatic!!! :D  And I am also overwhelmed with all the love, support and congratulation messages I've been receiving from so many of you!!!!  Thank you!!!!!  You have all made me feel very loved and encouraged--THANK YOU, my lovelies for your heart-warming kindness!!!  May GOD reward all the goodness you've demonstrated to me!!! XO

In case you haven't had a chance to check out the Sister Act Card Challenge blog, this is a brand new and wicked fun weekly "Anything Goes" challenge, where you'll be able to share your beautiful artwork.  This is your opportunity to display an unlimited amount of your best and most favorite techniques to use in card making!!!  I really hope you'll join us, because honestly it's too easy and FUN since....... ANYTHING GOES!!!  Yeay!!!! :D

This week, the sponsor of our very first challenge is Crafty Sentiments Designs and the prize they are offering to one lucky person is 3 digis of the winner's choice!!!  Yippee!  Thank you, Crafty Sentiments Designs!!! (:

Below, please find both the badge for our sponsor and the picture of my card...

The Crafty Sentiments Designs image I used for my card is Snowman Song and I colored it in with my copic markers.  I used distress inks in "tumbled glass" and "broken china" to create the sky.  Then, I added a lot of stardust Stickles to the white, fluffy portions of the hat--for texture.  The polaroid frame is the "Say Cheese - lawn cuts" and the sentiment is from the "Hello Friend" stamp set--both by Lawn Fawn.  The dots pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye.  I also embossed a piece of vellum paper w/my Swiss Dots embossing folder by Cricut to mat my polaroid frame.  The stitched lines (or liner) are from one of my current favorite stamp sets by Simon Says Stamp--"Like Your Style"--which I heat embossed in white.  To finish off the card, I added the mini clothes pin to make it appear like the polaroid is hanging by it.  I absolutely love how sharp this image came out!! (:  I happen to think I'm polishing those photography skills quite well and I couldn't be more proud of myself for such an accomplishment! heheh (:

I sure hope I have inspired you to play along in the new Sister Act Card Challenge this week!!!  I am also SO very happy that you've stopped by to "see" me here today.  Wishing you all a fabulous weekend and a delightful and blessed Sabbath!!!  'Til next time!!! Xoxo

Love,

Grisel
