Black & White Plus 1

Good morning, my loves!!!

I have the day off today (and tomorrow) and you would think I'd sleep in today, but  instead I've been up since 5:30 AM (couldn't sleep anymore--I was WIDE awake!).  So, what did I decide to do?  First, I spent time in devotion with GOD, of course.  And THEN, I started my own crafting party!!! Yippee!!! HA! (:

I looked up several challenges and one of them ends in a little over an hour, so I had to quickly choose that one first, before picking up the other ones...  Hence, this time I'm playing along with my friends over at CAS-UAL Fridays!  The CAS-UAL Fridays challenge this week is super fun (and easy!): Create a black and white card, plus your choice of one other color.

I actually made this card for both the challenge and for an order a good friend of mine placed for his church.  As I create the other ones for him, I hope to share them with you as well...  The images I used are digi's.  The hands I believe are from a Clear Dollar Stamps digi set I won a few months back in a challenge (forgive me, I honestly can't remember if this one was part of that set).  The sentiment I created myself as I played around with two different fonts and colors in Word for MAC.  To add depth to the white panel, I inked the edges with onyx black VersaFine ink.  Then, I assembled the card, adhered each element, tied a blow at the bottom of the card and added some blue rhinestones for a little embellished touch.  Anyway, I really like how it turned out! (:
