Paper Smooches - Card #3

And here is card #3 for the submission of the December Guest Designer search over at Paper Smooches (and the last one I'm posting tonight).  Click on the following links to see card #1 and card #2.

For this card I used all the scraps I had left over from the other two cards I created in post 1 and post 2!! (:  I heat embossed the sentiment in green.  Then, I decided to try out this really easy technique I learned from Gina K, as well as other crafters who've been using it a lot in their projects lately--I guess it's trending now.  It consists of creating embossed lines on a plain-looking card using a scoring board (mine is by Martha Stewart).  It adds a lot of character and interest!!  Hope you'll give it a go some time! (:

Here's the card: "Joyful Greetings"

I am also entering this card in a new challenge I found through the Stampin' Sisters in Christ blog, called: Word Art Wednesday!  This week's challenge with them is "Anything Goes"!!! SO excited to be participating with them for the first time!!  I look forward to participating more in the future!!! (:

Hope you were inspired to get crafty soon!  'Til next time!  Have a restful night if you're on my side of the world, otherwise have a great day!!! (:

Love,

Grisel

Grisel, I've seen your card and I thought it was a beauty. Striking in the simplicity and vivid colors. However one sees how easily you can overlook those very impressive details. I think this card is a winner on so many levels. ( I will be checking out 1 and 2 very shortly)
We are absolutely thrilled to have you post with us.
