Lattice Challenge Hop + Giveaway!!!

Hola, crafty friends and readers!!!

The day is finally here!!!  Yippieee! (:  Welcome to the Lattice Challenge Mini Blog Hop hosted by yours truly, alongside my SUPER talented friends, Lenny Sacreas and Vanessa Vergara!!! :D

I fell in love with the Hero Arts/Studio Calico lattice background stamp after seeing various cards with it, which just took my breath away, including a gorgeous one my friend Lenny created for a challenge!!!  I knew this was a background stamp I definitely needed to own and before I knew it, the Lawnscaping Challenge blog announced their Fall blog hop winners back in October... to my surprise, I was the one to win the $50 gift certificate to Ellen Hutson's online store (Thank you, Laurel & Ellen)!!!!!  That's how I ended up buying my lattice background stamp along with some other goodies :D  My friend Lenny then suggested that we challenge one another by creating cards w/our lattice background stamps, now that I had one, too.  I decided to invite my talented friend Vanessa to also join us in this fun challenge, because she had recently found an awesome DIY Lattice project on Pinterest... and THIS is how the idea of a mini blog hop emerged! (:

And now,  here's the reveal of my card for this challenge... (;

As you can see by the picture, I heat embossed the lattice background in white--LOVE how white looks against kraft!

Here's also a closer look at that beautiful Deasy Designs flower that I watercolored by mixing Distress inks and my ditto glimmer sprays! (:

Hope you like my pretty card as much as I do!!! hehe (:

It's Giveaway Time!!!  Before you hop over to the other blogs, here's your chance to win a $10 gift certificate to V's Sweet Ideas online shop!! (:  All you have to do is follow my blog and leave me a comment by Friday, November 23 at 11:59 PM EST, telling me what your favorite background stamp is and its manufacturer!!! (:   I will announce the winner on Sunday, November 25th.  Good luck!!!! (:

Up next... Vanessa Vergara's blog!!! (:   I can't wait to see what her and Lenny have created!!!  I'm pretty sure it's guaranteed to inspire and get our creativity juices flowing!!!!!! :D

Thanks for stopping by today, my friends! Xoxo

Blessings,

Grisel

So elegant Grisel! Sympathy cards are very challlenging for me..This one is uplifting:)
The colors on your flower are beautiful too!
my favorite BG is from HA:COLLAGE MUSIC BACKGROUND, I don't think it has to be used for Christmas only.
We can always be merry and festive and have a song of JOY in our heart:)

What a beautiful card!!! I love the lattice design too! I recently bought a die from Taylored Expressions with that design on it and LOVE it! My favorite background stamp is my newest one from Hero Arts their wood grain stamp it's so big it covers lots of space with one stamping!
