September "Photo Inspiration" Challenge!

It's that time again, crafters!!! Yes, September is already here (can you believe it?!) and that means there's a new challenge at V's Sweet Challenge blog!!!  Woohoo!!  This time it's an inspiration photo.  See it below...

I don't know about you, but this is one of my favorite color combinations--it's very shabby chic! (:  Now, this one was a challenge for me, in all its entity.  I LOVE the shabby chic style, but I also find it's one of the hardest styles to create!  However, I actually liked the way my "shabby chic" card turned out, being that this was my first attempt at creating in this style.  Oh my, can I tell you?!  I think it's safe to say the easiest way to give something a shabby chic look is to add pins and paper roses to it!  Or at least that's my theory... HA! (:  Want to get all the fabulous products I've used on this card (i.e. Pink ribbon which I colored using my "worn lipstick" distress ink, twine in "Caribbean", Maya Road paper roses, Maya Road heart pins)?  Head over to V's Sweet Ideas to shop your little heart out!!! :D  Since September is the month that announces the Fall, I thought this adorable lil scarecrow would be appropriate for the challenge this month!
