I don't know about you, but this is one of my favorite color combinations--it's very shabby chic! (: Now, this one was a challenge for me, in all its entity. I LOVE the shabby chic style, but I also find it's one of the hardest styles to create! However, I actually liked the way my "shabby chic" card turned out, being that this was my first attempt at creating in this style. Oh my, can I tell you?! I think it's safe to say the easiest way to give something a shabby chic look is to add pins and paper roses to it! Or at least that's my theory... HA! (: Want to get all the fabulous products I've used on this card (i.e. Pink ribbon which I colored using my "worn lipstick" distress ink, twine in "Caribbean", Maya Road paper roses, Maya Road heart pins)? Head over to V's Sweet Ideas to shop your little heart out!!! :D Since September is the month that announces the Fall, I thought this adorable lil scarecrow would be appropriate for the challenge this month! (: He is a digi image from Robyn's Fetish--our sponsor this month! Robyn's Fetish will be awarding the lucky winner of this month's challenge their choice of 5 digital stamps. A BIG thank you to our friends over at Robyn's Fetish for their generosity!! (:
Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More, a division of I Did It Creations, was created and is owned by Robyn Weinrib. Robyn offers a wonderful variety of digital stamps and digital papers, designed to meet the needs of all digital paper crafting addicts for every occasion.
And now, let's take a look at my card:
