Join Us: "Summer Fun" VSC #1 Challenge!!!

Good morning and welcome once more, my lovely readers!!!! 

I hope you are enjoying the weekend under the AC!!!  I am enthralled to share my first DT card for the first challenge post over at V's Sweet Ideas Challenge Blog!!!!!  It is the first challenge of the blog and I invite you to join us by submitting your beautiful crafty creations!!! This month we are creating projects inspired by summer... fun & festivities!!! :D

For my created card, I cut out the letters out of the word "EXPLORE" from a Maya Road chic tag.  I matted/framed each letter back on the same tag that I had originally cut them out from.  I attached pop dots to each matted letter, which I later adhered to the panel to form a flag banner.  The pattern papers I used for this card are from "The Green Stack" by DCWV Inc.--excellent quality of paper, by the way!  I also added a cute little dragonfly sticker and a gem to each tiny bow, which I tied with embroidery floss.  I actually LOVE how this card turned out!!!  Very proud of this one... (;
