Happy Friday, my lovelies!!!
You guessed it--I'm here with a new "Anything Goes" challenge for the Sister Act Card Challenge!!! I hope you decide to play along each week... It's your chance to show off your best and/or most favorite techniques... Whichever one(s) you choose!!! Seriously, it doesn't get easier (and more FUN) than that!!! :D
This week we have two sponsors: Digi Darla Designs and Milk Coffee--yeay!! (:
Both companies were very generous in giving the DT members several images to choose from so that we could use for our cards. I chose "Dogwood Bouquet" by Digi Darla Designs--SO pretty!
I started out by printing the image onto white cardstock paper. I colored in the image using my copics (see my supplies list for colors)--such smooth results! (: Since my printer hadn't done the best job, I went ahead and outlined my image--after coloring it in--with a Memento tuxedo black marker. I matted the colored image onto a shimmery pink cardstock by Bazzill (so sad the picture doesn't show the beautiful shine of the cardstock). Then, I tied a pretty bow with soft pink ribbon, mounted the panel onto the card base using foam adhesive, stamped the sentiment using Versafine onyx black ink, and the card was done! (:
Here's a look at my card:
Supplies:
Digi Darla Designs: Dogwood Bouquet digi
Copic Colors: R20, R32, YG06, G05, G17, Y06, Y17
Papertrey Ink: White cardstock
Bazzill: Shimmery pink cardstock (matted image)
Celebrate: Soft pink ribbon (Michaels)
Lawn Fawn: sentiment "Many Thanks" (comes with any LF order)
I hope I have inspired you to play along with us at SACC this week!! For more inspiration, be sure to take a hop over to the blog to check out what the rest of the DT has created! (: Thank you, all SO much for stopping by today--your visit brightens my day! (: Wishing you an amazing and blessed day!!! XOXO
Love,
Grisel ♥
