PDCC #141: Make Lemonade!

Welcome back, my lovelies!!!

This weekend we are being blessed with GORGEOUS sunshine and cooler temperatures!  Ahhh, after the storm comes the calm and the sun smiles (:  (Multidimensional statement)... SO grateful to GOD for this precious gift!

Anyways, as promised, I'm back with a special card today.  I created this one late Friday afternoon.  Last weekend, I had a blessed experience (I think my cousin, Carlos can agree with me on this one) and all throughout the week, I felt GOD's gentle touch speak to my heart and mind, to remind me of His unfailing love & power, and how He is able to turn our worst nightmare into our best blessing.  Pr. Suarez--bless his heart--spoke soothing words to my quenching soul and I know he was sent from Above (James 1:17).  Anyways, in one of his words to Carlos and I, he made reference to the infamous quote "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade".  Those words echoed in my mind for the entire week.  And Friday afternoon, as I was blasting on the classical music and beginning to craft a card using the colors for The Play Date Challenge #141, one of my dear friends, Federico Silie, was also a key instrument used by GOD to minister to me.  I didn't exactly know what kind of card I would end up finishing, but at that moment, I decided to dedicate this one to him.  So, my dear friend, Fede, this one's for you! :D  And this one also goes to anyone who may be going through a difficult circumstance and might currently feel stuck, not knowing what to do with all the bitterness that seems to always surround us.  Feeling faint or like you're almost drowning?  Call on JESUS and Make Lemonade!

My heart is filled with gratitude towards GOD.  Even amidst the storm, He delivers the calm, whether through the messengers He uses or when we seek Him in His Word.  And most importantly, His presence accompanies us to offer peace like none other.  Don't give up, He is mighty to save and victory is on its way! (:

This week at The Play Date Cafe, the suggested colors are:

Soft Yellow
Hope you decide to join in the fun by playing along!!! (:

Wishing you all a bright and blessed day!!! See you back here soon! xoxo
