Lawnscaping Challenge #34 - Sending Love Your Way!

Aaaack!!! *screaming* Ooh la-la!!! I am SO excited to share with you all my newest card creation!!! :D  I'll be honest and warn you.......... I'm in LOVE with it!!!!  I'm already an Eiffel Tower junkie as it is ("Paris" stamp set from My Cute Stamps), as well as a HUGE Lawn Fawn fan!!!  Add to that my fascination for the dry/heat emboss technique in crafting... Seriously, it's THAT simple to make me happy!!! HA! :D  When I saw Lawnscaping's challenge this morning, I didn't even blink--I knew I would participate in this one!!!  I hope you have the chance to join in the fun, too!!! (:   It's being sponsored by Lawn Fawn and the winner will get a LF stamp set of their choice.  Click the link to visit the blog and find out more details on Lawnscaping Challenge #34.

Let me give you a quick review of what I did for this card.  I heat embossed most of the images that you see here using VersaMark ink and black embossing powder.  I also dry embossed the wide strip of vellum paper using my Cuttlebug.  I colored in the Eiffel Tower using my Marvy Uchida markers.  Then, I tried out a great tip, which Kristina Werner once showed in one of her video tutorials... I inked the "Sending love your way" sentiment stamp in the VersaMark ink first, before inking it with Distress ink in "Broken China".  The color definitely came out more crisp than if I hadn't inked up the stamp first in the VersaMark ink.  I also used May Arts ribbon that I ordered from my new acquaintance, Vanessa Vergara--check out her online shop!  She is such a sweetheart... (:  I will be buying my ribbon from her from now on!!

And here's my card, which I'm über excited about!!!!!!!

Hope you enjoyed this card!!  Til' next time, mes amis!!! (; Have a blessed week!!  XOXOXO

Love,

Gri
