You're The Cat's Meow

Hello, my beautiful friends!

Hope you're all having a great weekend.  It's been scorching hot in New York these days, so we try to spend more time indoor under the AC than out.  But we can't complain, we've been blessed with beautiful sunshiny days!

Here's a quick post, sharing a masculine card I recently made using my Lawn Fawn stamp sets "Dad's Day" and "Critters in the 'Burbs".  I stamped the tie image using various Memento inks (3 shades of blue, green and purple).  I heat embossed the sentiment in white and punched the border of the white panel using my Fiskars "Notebook" punch.  The card base is from Hero Arts and the strips of pattern papers are from My Mind's Eye.  For the finishing touch, I tied a knot with natural cord--also from Lawn Fawn--and added Distress stickles (from Ranger) to the mounted ties only.  I hope you like it! (:

I am also submitting this card to Lawnscaping Challenge #37: Use Dimension and it's being sponsored by SIMON SAYS STAMP.  So hop on over to the blog and I hope you decide to play along, too! (:

Until next time!  Have a blessed and crafty time!!! xoxoxo

Love,

Gri
