Thanks Friend!

I'm back, my beautiful friends! (:

This time, it's a "Thanks Friend" card I created using.... can you guess?? Yes, Lawn Fawn! HA! (;  I can't get enough of them!  Their stamps are just too much FUN to use.  The set is "Critters in the 'Burbs" and the sentiment is from "Critters in the Forest".  I mostly paper pieced all the images, except a few, which I colored in using my Memento and Marvy Uchida markers.  I don't own a grass border punch, so I created my own.  Instead, I used a scallop border punch, then, using my scissors, I cut fringes and made it look like grass.  I created the clouds using a cool technique I recently learned by watching a video tutorial on YouTube, but I can't even remember the lady's name.  This technique is so simple to re-create, I only had to watch it once and immediately went and tried it out.  One of these days--soon I hope--I'll create a short video tutorial and teach you how to make these fun and fluffy clouds!  In the meantime, enjoy the card and I hope you are inspired by it to get craftin'! (;

I will also be submitting this card to this week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything Goes!  Seriously friends?  You need to play along... It just doesn't get any easier than this.  Hope you do decide to join the rest of us in this awesome challenge!  Plus, the winner gets a $50 voucher to the Simon Says Stamp online store... (;

Hope you're all having a good week so far and continue to have a great one!  Looking forward to reading all your lovely comments.  Have a blessed and crafty day!!! xoxo

Love,

Gri
